Sam Andrew, guitarist for both Big Brother & The Holding Company and Janis Joplin's KOZMIC BLUES band was one of the final guests on the first chapter of Visual Radio, right before I cleaned up Woburn Cable with a legitimate lawsuit / complaint against the old Continental Cablevision. It is so interesting that FREE SPEECH is limited in the new millennium, but big corporations don't really care about interviews with important rock legends.

We the people have to constantly fight for first Amendment rights for something so simple as talking about "Piece Of My Heart", talking to the original bandmembers who recorded the song, and airing those interviews for the public on TV.

Sam Andrew called my review of the Legacy/Sony LIVE AT WINTERLAND release the best review ever of a Big Brother album. High praise indeed.

And this is what Continental Cablevision censored! Oh, they did give me a 30 minute interview with Janis Joplin's sister, Laura Joplin, which we aired with the Big Brother interview, and eventually I won the suit against them. Now Woburn, Massachusetts has an access facility - not pushed into the next town, free and open. Now I am fighting for those same rights for Medford citizens. Stay tuned!
